DeepBrain AI, a leading generative artificial intelligence (AI) company in South Korea (CEO Jang Se-young), announced on the 00th that it will conduct a pilot project for the 'AI Human Guide Service' at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, running until August 18.

This pilot project aims to demonstrate the Proof of Concept (PoC) of the AI Human Guide Service, which supports real-time voice conversations with customers. By scanning a QR code with a smartphone, a virtual staff member appears and engages in real-time conversations, providing tailored answers to customer inquiries. The service primarily aims to assist foreign customers who may face challenges using the store, offering support in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

DeepBrain AI has enhanced the convenience of the AI Human Guide Service through deep learning tailored to the Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch. Key information such as in-store brands, events, restaurants, cafes, tax refunds, and parking, which are frequently inquired about by foreign customers, has been selected and integrated. Responses are provided in both voice and text formats, with reference images displayed to aid understanding.

The virtual staff, created with DeepBrain AI's AI Human technology, boasts high-quality features such as natural expressions, movements, and sophisticated lip-syncing, making it appear as if a real person is speaking.

Earlier this year, DeepBrain AI successfully completed the first pilot project of the AI Human Guide Service at Hyundai Department Store's The Hyundai Seoul Branch. Building on this success, the company plans to expand the AI Human Guide Service business model through the additional pilot project at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch.

Jang Se-young, CEO of DeepBrain AI, stated, "This pilot project of the AI Human Guide Service will be a meaningful case of successfully applying AI technology in the retail industry. We will continue to make innovative attempts to integrate generative AI technology into various industries."
